NFIA sponsors the first Expat Awards ceremony
On Tuesday 23 March 2010, the Expat Awards 2010 ceremony took place at Nyenrode Business University. This event was sponsored by Expatica, Undutchables, Nyenrode Business University and NFIA. It aims to put expats, expat employers and expat service providers in Holland in the spotlight.
On behalf of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Bas Pulles, Commissioner for Foreign Investments at the NFIA, held a speech on the importance of foreign companies and expats for the Dutch economy and social environment. He also underlined the efforts of the Dutch government to welcome foreign companies and expats and the ongoing attention for a good investment climate.
The winners were:
- Expat of the Year: Sueli Brodin (in the middle on the picture below)
- Expat Employer of the Year: Optiver
- Expat Service Provider of the Year: Access
