Chinese health and wellness center opens it doors in The Hague
Today Vice-Mayor Henk Kool opened the new Chinese health center Yu Zu Tang Health Garden, located at the Amsterdamse Veerkade in the center of The Hague. Yu Zu Tang offers health and preventive wellness treatments based on traditional Chinese medicine.
In China, Yu Zu Tang is a market leader with 68 locations and 4.5 million customers each year. The center in The Hague is the first location in Europe and there are plans for further expansion. The center, run by a Dutch management team, employs approximately 40 people and can offer treatments to 45.000 clients each year. The WestHolland Foreign Investment Agency assisted Yu Zu Tang with establishing in The Hague.
Surrounded by an enthusiastic audience Vice-Mayor Kool performed the opening ceremony yesterday. “I consider it an honour that this well-known Chinese wellness company chose The Hague for its first center in Europe. I am convinced that Yu Zu Tang will be successful in The Hague. This new center is not only beneficial for the city and the local economy but it fits the international profile of The Hague”

Yu Zu Tang is open to public 7 days a week from 9.00 to 21.00. The center also offers meeting and training facilities combined with wellness treatments.
The WFIA assists international companies in establishing, expanding or relocating their operations in the WestHolland region. Recently celebrating its 10th anniversary, the WFIA was founded in 2000 by the municipalities of The Hague, Delft, Leiden, and Zoetermeer along with The Hague Chamber of Commerce and The Hague Region. Since December 2008 the municipality of Lansingerland has been a member of the WFIA. The province of South Holland also supports the WFIA.
