Forever 21 Inc. establishes European Headquarters in the Netherlands

Location to include call center for on-line sales of designer clothes

 

Forever 21 Inc., a retail fashion company based in Los Angeles, California, has announced the opening of a new European heaquarters in Breda, the Netherlands. The brand for young women and men includes trendy, affordable designer clothes and accessories, like shoes, bags, belts and cosmetics.

With sales of more than $2.3 billion, Forever 21 is one of the fastest growing retail outlets in the world. Up until now, the company’s products were only sold in North America and Asia. The arrival of the new European headquarters in Breda will eventually result in 70 new jobs. The company will open its first European retail outlet in Birmingham on November 12th, and its next store in Dublin the following day. More retail openings are anticipated for the following years in various European countries.

In Breda, Forever 21 Inc. found the optimal combination of all factors that were decisive in establishing the location of its headquarters. "Breda, or West Brabant, provides a good infrastructure to reach our European branches, there is sufficient supply of highly qualified and multilingual staff, and it has a reputation in the field of logistics,” said Rob Cuijpers, Administrative Director - Europe at Forever 21.

During the location decision process Forever 21 has been advised by the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency (NFIA), the Brabant Development Agency (BOM), the regional development agency NV REWIN West Brabant and the municipality of Breda.
