Post Event Hightlights: Promoting Investments in the Netherlands - Gateway to Europe
Global Entrepolis Singapore 2007 (GES 2007) is a unique festival of events. Held annually, it cuts across industries, from nurturing and promoting entrepreneurship to facilitating investments, and business opportunities and collaboration, as well as providing a myriad of business networking, exhibition and conference platforms for a truly global audience. GES 2007, held from November 12-15, 2007 attracted more than 10,000 participants from diverse regions and organizations, thereby reinforcing Singapore's position as a compelling global hub for business and investment.
In conjunction with GES 2007, the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency (NFIA) held a seminar on "Promoting Investments in the Netherlands - Gateway to Europe" on November 14, 2007 at the Suntec Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Centre in Singapore.
Aimed at CEO's, senior management and decision-makers, the meeting provided an insight into business opportunities in the Netherlands. A total of 47 participants attended the NFIA seminar which featured the role of the newly opened NFIA office in Singapore; and developments within the logistics industry; and tax and financial considerations, as well as other crucial information for foreign companies wishing to take advantage of the dynamic Dutch business environment as a strategic base to cover Europe, with a view to expand their global reach in the international marketplace.
NFIA also hosted a booth at GES 2007 to promote investments in the Netherlands through personal consultations and information distribution to visitors.
