In a recent survey CapGemini and ProLogis a global leader in industrial real estate, it was revealed that the Netherlands is Europe's most "sort after" distribution centre location, especially in the high-tech and electronics industries as well as the food and beverage sectors. According to the report, the Netherland accounts for 51 percent of all European distribution centres within the EU market, with more than 9,000 foreign companies using the region as their distribution hub.
